Our Recanto is located 2.00 hr. from Salvador da Bahia, Valenca, at the east coast of Brazil Climate: Average temperatures 20-30º also in July (winters) not under 20º, the temperatures always bearable because always a lighter wind blows. Water temperature always invites to a bath. In Guaibim, a former Fischer place, which is today the bathing resort for the “Valençaner “, with small hotels, bars, restaurants, supermarkets and an endless beach, apart from the mass tourism, you can get to know here the joy of life of the Bahian and explore the marvellous nature of Brazil. The area is admits for the freshness of the sea food and the quality of its Dendê Oels. Valenca, 75000 inhabitants, approx. 15 km, is admits for its building of wood boats and offers also nice shops. The island Itanharé with the principal place „Morro de São Paulo“ is directly in front of „the door “and with the boat within a short time attainable. There it is marvellously for snorkelling and to dip into the Brazilian night life. We lead our house privately and love also the contact with our guests. Grill evenings with fish or meat, or to have a common meal in one of the restaurants, as well as sailing on our Catamaran or a ride at the beach with our horses Grafino and Atrevido is ever also like small vacations for us. The beach and the environment are suitable also well for Mountainbiketours or a tour with our Jeep across the beach and explore the nature. The rooms are all comfortable, with sea-view, air-conditioned and with love furnished so that one from the first day on probably-felt. When rising the sun you have a view on the sea which invites equal to a bath or a morning migration. In the afternoon you can relax in a „hammock “on the terrace in front of the room and a breeze gives freshness, or undertakes trips into the environment. We serve a rich breakfast with fresh tropical fruits and exotic juices. Gladly we organise also trips to Salvador or into the environment with our guests. Maragojipinho: Clay Art and craft. Beautiful place where you can have some fresh fished oysters together. Morro de São Paulo/Boipeba: Small Islands with also beautiful beaches. Nice for snorkelling or diving and to make some boat tours from island to island. In the carnival procession time (at the end of February) you also can sniff the atmosphere here in Guaibim. Around Guaibim/Valença you have a lot of nice untouched countryside to visit, some with waterfalls where you can have also a swim. |
